Who these terms apply to

“Wheel Decide,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of wheel-decide.com. “You” and “your” refer to anyone visiting the site or using our wheels. These terms cover the whole website, including preset wheels, custom wheels you build, share links, and embeddable versions.

Using Wheel Decide

Wheel Decide is free to use for personal, classroom, family, small-business, and non-commercial fun. You can spin any preset wheel, build your own wheels, share links, embed a wheel on your blog or class page, and take a screenshot of a result. No account is required.

You may not use the site in a way that could break it or ruin it for other people. In particular, you agree not to:

• Republish, sell, rent, sub-license, or redistribute the site or its wheels as your own product.
• Scrape, mirror, or copy the site in bulk to power a competing tool.
• Try to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attack the site or its servers.
• Use the site to run gambling, lotteries, or anything unlawful in your country.
• Use the site to harass, defame, threaten, or share content that infringes anyone’s rights.
• Automate spins or entries with bots to skew analytics, ads, or shareable results.

Your wheels and entries

The choices you type into a wheel — names, prizes, questions, colours, and any list you paste in — stay yours. Wheel Decide does not claim ownership of content you create. Because our wheels work in your browser, most entries never leave your device unless you choose to share a link, in which case they are encoded into the URL you copy.

By using the site you give us a limited permission to display, store, and render your entries so the wheel can spin, so you can share it, and so it can appear in the embeddable version. You are responsible for what you type. Please do not put private information, real personal data, or content that infringes someone else’s rights into a wheel you plan to share.

Embedding our wheels

Every preset wheel has a public embed URL at /embed/<slug>. You are welcome to embed any preset wheel on your own website, blog, or classroom page as long as:

• The embed loads from wheel-decide.com and is not altered in transit.
• You do not remove or hide the small “Wheel Decide” backlink shown in the embed.
• You do not use the embed to trick visitors into believing your site is Wheel Decide.

Wrapping our pages in your own iframe or frameset to alter the visual presentation of wheel-decide.com itself is not allowed without our written permission.

Linking to us

You are free to link to our homepage or to any wheel page from a website that is not deceptive and does not imply that Wheel Decide sponsors or endorses your site. You may use our name in the link, or a plain text URL. You may not use our logo or brand artwork for linking without our written permission.

We may ask you to remove a link to our site at any time. If we do, please remove it promptly. We also reserve the right to update or amend this linking policy as the site grows.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used, and we work with CafeMedia (operating as Raptive) and Google to show advertising on some pages. These partners set their own cookies and receive data described in our Privacy Policy. The site also links out to third-party websites; we do not control those sites and cannot be held responsible for anything they say or do.

Intellectual property

Unless we say otherwise, the design, code, wordmark, preset wheel content, and everything else on wheel-decide.com belongs to Wheel Decide or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the site as it is offered. Nothing on the site transfers any of our rights to you.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, please email us at support@wheel-decide.com with the subject “Copyright complaint” and include:

• A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• The exact URL(s) on wheel-decide.com where the material appears.
• Your contact details and a signed statement, in good faith, that you own the rights or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

We review every complaint and, where valid, remove or disable access to the material quickly.

Disclaimer and no warranties

Wheel Decide is provided “as is” and “as available.” The wheels are meant for fun, learning, and everyday decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to the site, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content on the site is complete or up to date.

Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

Because Wheel Decide is offered free of charge, we will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the site — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or the outcome of any decision you make based on a wheel spin. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed one hundred Indian rupees (INR 100) or the local currency equivalent.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Wheel Decide, its team, and its partners harmless from any claim or demand — including reasonable legal fees — made by a third party because of content you post, share, embed, or otherwise publish through the site, or because you have broken these Terms of Use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use as the site grows or as the law changes. When we do, we will refresh the “Effective date” at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the homepage for a short window. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove access to the site, or to specific features, at any time, for any reason, without notice. You can stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — for example intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — will continue to apply.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or connected with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. If you are a consumer in a country whose laws provide you mandatory local protections, nothing in this section removes those protections.

Other important bits

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply. Our failure to enforce a right on one occasion is not a waiver of that right in the future. These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, form the full agreement between you and Wheel Decide about your use of the site.
